Backstory:
Jenny was rescued alongside her sister Gracie from a situation of severe neglect. When she first arrived, she was painfully underweight, with rope burns on her back legs, and carried a deep fear of people and new surroundings. She was timid, skittish, and unsure of the world around her.
With patience, love, and consistency, Jenny has transformed into a puppy who now thrives in a home environment. She greets visitors warmly, enjoys playtime with the other dogs in her foster home, and loves being part of family life. While she is still gaining confidence outside of the yard and can be hesitant in new places, her progress has been nothing short of remarkable.
Personality:
Jenny is a gentle, affectionate, and playful pup with a true Lab-like spirit — loving, loyal, and always ready for a game of fetch. She has excellent manners: she doesn’t jump on people or furniture, never counter-surfs, and takes food gently from your hand. Though shy at first with new people and situations, she adjusts quickly once she feels safe. She is quiet in the home, affectionate without being demanding, and has a mischievous puppy streak that brings joy to her foster family. Jenny is still timid in unfamiliar environments, but with a patient family who understands dogs from trauma, she will continue to grow into the devoted, lovable companion she’s meant to be.

Other:
Jenny’s sweet heart, “black eyeliner,” and diamond-shaped mark on her forehead make her a beautiful girl inside and out. She may need extra patience as she learns that the world beyond her yard is safe, but the love and loyalty she’ll give in return will be well worth the wait.
