•Cats: as per prior owner gets along well with cats
•Kids: older kids preferred. Will tolerate 5-3 aged children but does need personal space respected.
Personality:
Cruze is a total cuddle bug who loves hanging out with his foster family’s golden retriever. He enjoys lots of naps throughout the day and sometimes gets a little grumpy later in the afternoon. When that happens, he likes having a quiet spot where he can relax.
He’s a big fan of rope toys, balls, and a good game of tug‑of‑war—whether it’s with another dog or his human. Cruze can be nippy, especially when he’s frustrated, so he’ll need an owner who’s patient and willing to build trust with him.
Cruze has one blind eye, so he can occasionally bump into things or misjudge the edge of the couch. He doesn’t like having his tail or ears touched by young children and may growl or nip if he feels uncomfortable.
He also loves to bark and will happily alert you when someone is outside. He’s currently working on staying calm when people walk by the window.
Medical Info: Cruze is up to date on vaccines and was neutered on January 21, 2026.

Other: A vet has examined his eye and believes he was likely born with the condition. At this time, it isn’t causing any pain and doesn’t require surgery.
